Check out the Live After Five schedule – The free outdoor concert series kicks off in September

The Downtown Business Association has released the schedule for the upcoming season of Live After Five.

The free outdoor concert series kicks off Friday, September 6 in Repentance Park (map it! link to 275 S. River Rd.) with music from the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. The concert will be the first time the symphony has lead a Live After Five production, and the program will include a patriotic tribute as well as hits from blockbuster films and Broadway.

The series will feature eight weeks of music each Friday, and concludes with a performance from singer-songwriter David St. Romain. For more information, click here.

September 13: Rockin’ Dopsie Jr. and the Zydeco Twisters.
September 20: Mojeaux.
September 27: Jaryd Lane and The Parish.
October 4: Rusty Yates.
October 11: Gina Brown and Anutha Level.
October 18: Hai Karate.
October 25: David St. Romain.
