Charlie Musselwhite headlines Blues Festival

Blues Week’s finale ends on a high note with the Baton Rouge Blues Festival all day Saturday. Percy Sledge & the Aces take the stage at 3:10 p.m. Bobby “Blue” Bland will “turn on your love light” at 6:30 p.m., and Native American bluesman Charlie Musselwhite, the inspiration for Dan Akroyd’s Blues Brothers, is the main attraction at 8:15 p.m. The one-of-a-kind musical experience starts at noon near the Old State Capitol and the River Center.
