‘Chalk’ it up to talent

With luck, the weather will stay clear and pleasant for LSU’s Chalk Art competition this Saturday, as student and local artists show off their skills on the University’s sidewalks. The competitors will be provided with a box of sidewalk chalk and four hours to create a temporary work of art. If inclement weather occurs, the competition will relocate to the LSU Student Union. If you think you’ve got the chops to participate—or just want an excuse to play with chalk for awhile—the fee is $15 for students, $20 for non-students.
