The Laurel Street Palooza is back to celebrate arts in Baton Rouge this Friday. The event features a silent auction, music and food and drink. This year’s king is Jim Brandt, and the queen is Mary Ann Sternberg. The party starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Arts Council building (427 Laurel Street). Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door.
