Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Kite Fest Louisiané

Get your kites ready for the 10th anniversary celebration of Kite Fest Louisiané in West Baton Rouge this weekend. The free event kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday at the West Baton Rouge Soccer Complex (3383 Rosedale Rd.) and includes kite flying, kite design competitions, children’s workshops, demonstrations, food, fireworks and more. The Big River Express Band will perform 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Saturday. Regular festival hours, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., resume Sunday.
