Celebrate River Road African American Museum’s 20th anniversary

The River Road African American Museum celebrates 20 years of preserving history in Louisiana Sunday at Manship Theatre with a reception at 3 p.m. and program at 4 p.m. The fundraising event will feature musical performances from jazz musician Jerry Peters, percussionist Bill Summers and the Southern University Concert Choir as well as dance, drama and much more. Semi-formal attire is required. Tickets are $100.
