Celebrate Mexican independence as only Americans can

Mestizo Restaurant is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with music, margaritas, muchachas and, of course, Chihuahuas. Last year’s Chihuahua contest brought out dozens of dogs and their owners, all vying to be top dog. Last year’s winner Pepe Lopez (pictured), owned by Sarah and Jay Lyles, will pass his sombrero to his successor Sunday, May 4.
