Celebrate Leap Year, Cajun style

Don’t call it a violin. Lead singer Louis Michot of the Lost Bayou Ramblers plays a fiddle, and the band’s accordion and lap steel-spiced sound is a hot time in Cajun Country. The Lafayette-based band celebrates Leap Day at Chelsea’s Cafe, Friday, Feb. 29. 10 p.m. $10.
