Catch a flick at the Manship
Manship Theatre does more than plays and musical performances—they screen great films, too! This weekend brings a lineup of fantastic indies and classics to the big screen. Friday is the Sundance-selected indie Lord Byron, which tracks a lothario whose middle-age crisis brings about a desire to become a monk. Saturday is the acclaimed documentary Who is Harry Nilson?, which examines the life of one of pop’s greatest songwriters. And Sunday features an afternoon screening of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, followed in the evening by the eco-documentary Urban Roots, following a group of Detroiters working to create locally-grown produce within the city. Visit manshiptheatre.org for a list of screen times and ticket prices.
