Casas for CASA kick-off

This weekend kicks off the annual Casas for CASA fundraiser benefiting the Capital Area CASA Association. On Saturday, CASA will raffle off a children’s playhouse in the 19th annual playhouse fundraiser to support efforts to speak up for abused and neglected children. The playhouse is valued at $17,000 and will be on display in the lower level center court of the Mall of Louisiana. Raffle tickets are $5 and are available at the display. Sunday, the CASA Fiesta starts at 7 p.m. at the mall. The event features live music from The Better Than Nobody band and Mexican food from local restaurants while guests bid on auction items.
