Cane’s still all about the chicken

225 Dine fell prey to a rogue PR agent last week when we reported that favored fast food chain Raising Cane’s might be changing up their menu. The press release we cited was only relevant to a San Antonio airport location which offers breakfast and a salad in addition to the usual chicken finger offerings.  According to Cane’s spokesperson Julie Perrault,  although there are no immediate plans to launch them in Louisiana, the breakfast and salad options are doing well enough that it’s always a possibility we’ll add them locally someday. Still, you don’t have to journey all the way to San Antonio to get your chicken fix: Cane’s is opening three more Louisiana restaurants this month in Broussard, Opelousas and Shreveport.  Cane’s also continues spreading the “one love” nationally, with planned openings in Massachusetts, Nevada, South Carolina, and Kentucky later this year.
