Calendar: Whole Foods events … Murder mystery dinners at Ralph and Kacoo’s
The ‘Whole’ nine yards: Whole Foods has a bunch of events fit to put a summer smile on your face. First up is the “Luncheon Luau,” with Hawaiian-inspired dishes throughout the store. In addition, families can compete in the hula-hoop contest at 1 p.m. outside the store. On Tuesday, the Baton Rouge store’s cheese guru will discuss the history and origin of cheese, how to properly eat cheese and more. The class is limited to 15 guests and reservations can be made by calling 218-0452 or visiting the Guest Service desk at the store. Wednesday, their Health Starts Here expert will serve five Health Starts Here dishes from the Prepared Foods department for $5. The Health Starts Here program is based on four pillars of healthy eating: whole foods, plant strong, healthy fats and nutrient dense. Find out more at Whole Foods Market Louisiana on Facebook. A dinner to die for: Dinner theatre is a dying art—and Ralph and Kacoo’s is bringing it back with two Murder Mystery Dinners on July 22 and 23. Enjoy the mystery over appetizers—and by dessert, try to figure out whodunit. Call 766-2113 to make your reservations.
