Calendar: Taste the good life at Byronz … Whole Foods celebrates fifth anniversary

Sights, sounds and sips: Thursday, July 22, Bistro Byronz will present a unique blend of music, art and food at Sightz & Soundz. Featuring the work of local artists Sydney Harkins, Leah Duvic and Rebecca Kreisler, as well as the musical stylings of the John Gray Jazz Trio, you can sip wine and nosh on complimentary appetizers while you take in the rarefied atmosphere. 6-9 p.m. BR birthday bash: Whole Foods is celebrating its fifth year in the Baton Rouge area with an all-out birthday party on Saturday, July 17. Enjoy cake, play games and win prizes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those who play can win goodie bags, cupcakes and other sweets. Face painting and balloons for the kids will be available. The party is free to the public.
