Surf’s up with Will: Whole Foods’ resident seafood expert Will Spiers will be holding classes every Tuesday in August from 6-7 p.m. He’ll show you how to handle various flavors of fish, and will demonstrate a different recipe every session. The classes are free, but reservations are limited, so call 218-0452 to make sure you’ve got a spot. Grillin’ and chillin at White Oak: White Oak Plantation’s herbal expert, Sarah Liberta, will demonstrate the proper use of herbs in grilling and cool summer specialties like ice cream and lemonade. Attendees will enjoy a multi-course meal with a glass of wine, and a cooking demonstration by White Oak’s chef Travis Lawson. Sunday, Aug. 9, 3-6 p.m. $50, advance registration is required.
