Viva la Revolution: Chef Ann Cooper, a.k.a. the “Renegade Lunch Lady” presents her workshop on the “School Lunch Revolution” this Saturday at Whole Foods. Parents who want to know how to pack a lunch that’s processed-food-free can sample her recipes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the checkout line, then join her for a demonstration and seminar in the community room at 2 p.m. Herbal Revival: Herbal expert Sarah Liberta continues her herbal workshops at the Baton Rouge Garden Center at Independence Park on Wednesday Sept. 9 with a program on pestos and vinegars.
