Love you to death: The 10/31 Consortium is throwing a Valentine’s Day bash with a gangster flair—dress in your best 1920s duds and head to the Wine Loft February 3rd for the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre event. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to be entered into the drawing for the door prize, and themed costumes are encouraged but not required. The naked fish: Sunday, Feb. 20, Hello Sushi on Highland Road will host a “Nearly Naked Sushi” party to benefit the Arts Council of Baton Rouge. Chef Peter Nyguen will prepare a selection of fine cuisine, served up on nearly naked models for display, according to the Japanese tradition of nyotaimori (body sushi).
