Calendar: Entree to Literacy fundraiser next week

Take a bite out of illiteracy: The Greater Baton Rouge Literacy Council has partnered with several local restaurants for Literacy Week 2009. On Tuesday, Dec. 1, 15% of the day’s sales at Counter Culture, Louie’s Café, and Monjuni’s Italian Café will benefit the council. On Wednesday, the same goes for the Steakhouse at Hollywood Casino.
