Building an American Renaissance

The Foundation for Historical Louisiana will present a “Preservation Salon” about the history of the LSU campus and its architecture Thursday, with a talk from J. Michael Desmond, architectural historian. The salon, sponsored by the Getty Foundation, ties into a stellar exhibition at the LSU Union Art Gallery, running through October 25. Free for FHL members, $10 for guests at the Old Governor’s Mansion. 6 p.m. Refreshments provided by Calandro’s Select Cellars.
