Broadway Santa makes musical debut

Playmakers of Baton Rouge’s latest effort comes with bells on. Broadway Santa follows everyone’s favorite jolly old man as he takes a break from Christmas preparations to chase his dream of starring in his own Broadway production. Musical numbers, elves, reindeer and all the trimmings make this holiday romp as festive as a big glass of eggnog. The show opens at the Reilly Theatre Friday at 7 p.m. and lasts through Dec. 15.
