Bring your ear plugs; Dinosaur Jr. tonight

Ask an old Dinosaur Jr. fan if he’s punk rock. If he says no, he’s probably a true punk rocker. And you might even see him standing in a dark corner at the Dinosaur Jr. show at The Varsity. This gem of a hardcore punk band, formed in the 1980s, is “road-testing” their new material, set to be released in an album this summer, and Baton Rouge was fortunate enough to be included on this limited-edition tour.
