BR Walls unveiling at Harrington’s

To celebrate the completion of the BR Walls Project’s second mural, Harrington’s Cafe is hosting a party on Tuesday, Oct. 16, and all of Baton Rouge is invited. Enjoy a sampling of the restaurant’s dishes and ice cream for the kids while taking in the mural artwork by artist Joseph Konert on the outside of the restaurant. Next door at the Mentorship Academy, Brian Dixon will host a book signing party and meet and greet. This will be a great opportunity to hear Dixon speak about his book on social media, and for the community to learn more about the groundbreaking work he is doing with his downtown charter school. For the grand finale, the imagery for the upcoming Wall No. 3 on the Mentorship Academy building will be unveiled. Free and open to the public. More information at brwallsproject.com.
