Boxers return to B.R. to exchange fists

Live boxing returns Friday to the Atrium at the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino with a full card of bouts scheduled. Two Baton Rouge boxers and one from Lafayette are scheduled to fight, as well as a slugfest featuring female boxers. Darnell Boone of Atlanta, known for his take-no-prisoners, blue-collar fighting style, also will be among those in the ring. Doors open at 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets range from $20 to $60 and are available by calling 378-6443.
