Baton Rouge's #1 lifestyle magazine since 2005

Bowled over – Editorial

Welcome bowlers! For a few weeks now, some of you have been guests of the Red Stick, with tens of thousands more athletes on their way. Through July 10, some 60,000 of you will compete at Baton Rouge River Center, our concert and convention venue that has been converted into a 48-lane bowling haven.

We want to say thank you for visiting Baton Rouge and are excited for you to discover some of the same things we love about our city.

Enjoy downtown’s restaurants, art venues, nightlife and the newly constructed North Boulevard Town Square. Load up on produce and home-baked goods at the Red Stick Farmers Market. Jog or walk around University Lake at sunset. Drive down Highland Road and through the oaks of the LSU campus.

Taste the bounty from the kitchens of our locally owned restaurants and passionate chefs. Discover the eclectic, artistic side of Mid City at Hot Art, Cool Nights. Cheer for the Tigers in Alex Box Stadium. Eat boiled crawfish. Ride a bike atop the levee. Eat more crawfish. Groove to the Baton Rouge Blues Festival, FestForAll, Sunday in the Park, and the many other community events and concerts Baton Rougeans enjoy every spring and summer.

We welcome you with open arms. Our city is your city.
