Boutin’s hosts cool Cajun concerts
Boutin’s Restaurant on Bluebonnet Boulevard is adding something extra to its autumn ambiance. In addition to serving up the authentic Cajun food for which they’re known, selected Saturdays will be set aside for special after-hours concerts featuring the best and brightest in contemporary Cajun, Zydeco and swamp-pop music. These “Bon Temps till Midnight” concerts include greats like Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, Feufollet and Warren Storm. Boutin’s owner Lynn Boutin says that the concerts will “offer artists and music fans alike an upscale, smoke-free venue” to enjoy some sweet tunes. Of course, it wouldn’t be Cajun if there weren’t food, and Boutin’s concerts will offer music lovers full bar access and a limited dinner menu of restaurant specialties. Geno Delafose kicks things off this Saturday; you can get the full schedule at boutins.com.
