Book launch at Teddy’s

Music writer and frequent 225 contributor Alex V. Cook is celebrating the release of his new book, Louisiana Saturday Night, at Teddy’s Juke Joint this Saturday at 8 p.m. Celebrate the good times found only in South Louisiana’s juke joints, honky-tonks, and dance halls with the author, the legendary Teddy Johnson, and the sounds of blues band One More Time.
