Blue Dog artist George Rodrigue signing his latest book

He’s been traveling from New York to Miami to Austin, and now this New Iberia artist returns to Louisiana to sign his latest book, Blue Dog Speaks. Swing by Barnes & Noble Citiplace at 7 p.m. Thursday to visit with George Rodrigue, who through the years has painted Ronald Reagan, Louis Armstrong and several Jazz Fest commemorative posters, in addition to his Blue Dog portraits that catapulted him to national fame. Just don’t bring any Jazz Fest posters or note cards; he’ll only sign copies of his book.
