Blend highlights Alexander Valley wines

Along California’s northern coast, you’ll find hundreds of vineyards in the Alexander Valley. The area is known for its rich wines, including variations on the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. To highlight all the offerings, Blend will host an Alexander Valley Vineyards wine dinner Thursday. The event will feature a five-course pairing and special guest Rob Wetzel, owner and proprietor of Alexander Valley Vineyards. Wetzel’s winery won the 2013 Alexander Valley winery of the year award at the New York International Wine Competition.
