‘Black’ is back – Will Smith is back hunting aliens

A decade after Men in Black II, Will Smith is back hunting aliens, and time is, apparently, on his side in this calendar-warping comedy that sees his Agent J sent back to the 1960s to stop an alien from assassinating Agent K—played by Tommy Lee Jones in the present and Josh Brolin, doing a commendable impression of Lee, in the past. But as Smith follows clues to the alien plot, his investigation is nearly thwarted by a string of celebrities from the swinging era. Barry Sonnenfeld returns to direct, while Jermaine Clement, Alice Eve, Bill Hader and Emma Thompson co-star. Rated PG-13.
