Better Block BR this weekend on Government Street

Better Block BR will test street design concepts and offer the public a chance to give their take on the bigger question—What do you want Government Street to look like?—starting this Saturday with its demonstration event. The event will showcase what types of businesses, activities and infrastructure could exist on the Mid City corridor, with pop-up restaurants and shops, food trucks, a biergarten, an art sale and more all slated for Saturday and Sunday. The event takes place on Government Street, between Bedford and Beverly drives, and is free and open to the public, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days.
