Better beer with Charles Milan

Charles Milan loves beer. He judges it in competitions and frequents all the beer festivals. Milan even brews his own beer on his backyard porch. Needless to say, he readily expresses his passion for everything about beer. “I like the variety,” he says. “I like the flavors, all the different styles.” Not only does Milan brew beer, he’s extremely good at it. In fact, on Nov. 13, Milan took third place in the 2010 Abita Home Brewers Competition with his homebrewed Baltic Porter. “My goal is to win first prize,” Milan admits. “I’m constantly trying to find tips and tweak recipes to get better.” Click here to read the whole story.
