Tony Award-winner and acclaimed tap dancer Savion Glover and his dance troupe will bring the Caribbean-inspired Bare Soundz performance to Manship Theatre on April 3.
Louisiana Art & Science Museum’s After Hours series continues this month with a guided tour of ancient Japanese woodblock printing through an exhibit called The Floating World: Ukiyo-e Prints, with vintage work from the Udon period of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. With complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres, the event will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. on April 12. Admission is free for LASM members and $7 for non-members.
On April 27, the LSU Museum of Art unveils Gabriel Dawe’s Cascade of Color, a geometric work of art using thread and specifically designed for the narrow spaces of the gallery.
