Best bets: Arts

It’s your last chance to experience Through the Lens, the Arts Council’s current exhibit of evocative images from the Louisiana Photographic Society. The show is hanging at the Arts Council’s gallery on Laurel Street downtown and closes May 11.

Architecture lovers can fill up on gorgeous imagery from two of the most beautiful cities in the world when the LSU Museum of Art hosts A Tale of Two Cities: Eugene Atget’s “Paris” and Berenice Abbot’s “New York.” The exhibit opens May 20 and runs through July 22 at LSU MOA inside the Shaw Center.
