Bayou Teche’s Loup Garou takes home silver at World Beer Cup
Arnaudville’s Bayou Teche Brewing made an impressive showing at the 2013 World Beer Cup in Chicago. Bayou Teche’s Loup Garou, a Belgian-inspired Imperial Stout crafted with chocolate-roasted Belgian malts and brown sugar, received a silver medal in the Wood Aged Ale category. The win marks the fifth silver medal for the four-year-old brewery. Sponsored by the Beverage Tasting Institute, the World Beer Cup attracts hundreds of entries from breweries throughout the world.
