‘Battleship’ shape

A routine day at sea turns into anything but at the movie theater this Friday with director Peter Berg’s new sci-fi war movie Battleship, filmed in part in Baton Rouge last year. Based loosely on the popular grid-guessing game from Hasbro—B4!—Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch and pop star Rihanna play members of a Naval crew conducting war exercises in the Pacific when they come across an alien armada bent on destroying the U.S. fleet, then the world. Brooklyn Decker and Alexander Skarsgard co-star. Rated PG-13.
