In partnership with Manship Theatre, Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra is offering musically inclined kids from second to sixth grade a chance to get a head start on their musical career over Thanksgiving break. Young Composers Camp welcomes young prodigies to read, write and compose their own music through daily sessions including games, lessons, instrument samplings and visits from the symphony’s own musicians. The camp will come to its spectacular conclusion on Wednesday with a BRSO performance of the children’s compositions. Choose from beginner or advanced levels. Admission is $175 per student.
