Baton Rouge Gallery shows off Art-o-Mat tonight

Baton Rouge’s first-ever Art-o-Mat debuts tonight at the December “First Wednesday” art opening at 7 p.m. The reception will celebrate the gallery’s new works from members MJ Bronz (Jenny Authement and Michael W. Howes), Paulo Dufour and Randell Henry, as well as other pieces from Howes. The Art-o-Mat gives patrons a chance to take an original work of art home for just $5. The small artworks are stored in a refurbished and repurposed cigarette vending machine, and it includes creations from about 20 different artists. Tonight’s reception is free.
