Baton Rouge Blues Festival

The Baton Rouge Blues Festival comes into its own this weekend with a killer lineup of acts both local and national, from Delbert McClinton to Henry Gray. Mississippi backwoods polymath and former Squirrel Nut Zipper member Jimbo Mathus & The Tri-State Coalition will strum away, blues circuit heavyweights Moreland and Arbuckle will weigh in, and Jimmie Vaughn—older brother of the late, great Stevie Ray—will prove he can more than hold his own on the stage.
