Baton Rouge Arts Market
It’s the first Saturday of the month, and that means one thing for downtown shoppers: the Baton Rouge Arts Market. With over 70 artists from all over the south, displaying wares from pottery to paintings, glassworks to quilts, you’re sure to spot something that your heart desires. The market takes place next door to the Red Stick Market, but if fickle fall weather strikes, it will be indoors in the Galvez Parking Garage at 500 Main St. 8 a.m. to noon. Free to the public.
