Avett Brothers to perform ragtime-punk-bluegrass show

They’ve opened for Widespread Panic and the Dave Matthews Band, and now they’re eyeing Baton Rouge. Brothers Seth and Scott Avett and upright bassist Bob Crawford are performing as The Avett Brothers, a North Carolina folk rock band, on Sept. 29 at the Baton Rouge River Center Theatre.
