Arts lab, music school create ingenious electronica show
Like your music full of synths, blips and bleeps? No, 1990s techno gods The Chemical Brothers aren’t coming to town, but Manship Theatre’s Cinema for the Ears is a worthy alternative. The Lab for Creative Arts and Technologies and LSU School of Music are teaming up to provide an evening’s worth of electronic and experimental music tonight, Oct. 8. Expect anything as they will be utilizing a 27-channel state-of-the-art surround sound environment—that’s more than you’re average movie theater. 8 p.m. $12.
