Artists and mentors share wall space in new BRG exhibit – Baton Rouge Gallery will shine a light on the influence artists have on each other in this month’s exhibit.

Baton Rouge Gallery will shine a light on the influence artists have on each other in this month’s exhibit. In the “Under the Influence” exhibition, works by the gallery’s artist members are paired with works from their mentors, students, or contemporary artists. Among the participating artists are Paul Caponigro, Walt Cotton, Barse Miller and many more. The free opening reception will be held Wednesday at the gallery (Map it!) at 7 p.m. This Sunday, artists will discuss their pieces and mentoring in a panel discussion during the gallery’s free ARTiculate Artist Talk at 4 p.m. For more information, visit batonrougegallery.org.
