Another Broken Egg returning to B.R.

Double R Restaurant Group of Lafayette is busy turning the former site of Harold’s clothing store in Citiplace into the home of Another Broken Egg. Yet the group is also looking at opening a Romacelli restaurant in Baton Rouge. “We hope to have a Baton Rouge location open this year,” says Stuart Ottinger with Double R. Romacelli is an Italian/Mediterranean bistro, which has locations in Lafayette and Youngsville. Double R intends to open a second Another Broken Egg in Baton Rouge, but Ottinger says at this time no site has been selected for it. The Citiplace breakfast, brunch and lunch spot is set to open in November.—Timothy Boone
