Animals after dark

Beat the heat this summer with after-hours fun at BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo. Twilight Tours have resumed for the season and every Tuesday and Thursday evening through July, zoo guests can tour the grounds and take in a beautiful sunset. The tram tour highlights the Otter Cabin and L’Aquarium de Louisiane, along with visits to the giraffes, zebras and flamingos. A private Wildlife Safari Amphitheatre show and evening snack round out the fun. Limited space is available, and pre-registration is required. To register, call 775-3877.
