Amazing ‘Drive’

Ryan Gosling stars as a Hollywood stunt driver who gets in over his head with Los Angeles mobsters in the getaway thriller Drive. Directed by acclaimed Bronson honcho Nicholas Winding Refn and based on the crime novel by James Sallis, the film follows Gosling’s wheelman as he takes on an ill-advised gig as a getaway driver for a dangerous heist. When the plan goes horribly wrong, the mafia boss, played by Albert Brooks, puts a hit out on Gosling, and the young driver has to do more than peel out to save his skin and the young family he watches over. Bryan Cranston, Christina Hendricks and Carey Mulligan co-star. Rated R.
