Revolution Dance Company, a local organization that focuses on many genres of dance, hosts its seventh annual Manship Theatre showcase Saturday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are $12.

The Old State Capitol hosts an opening reception Saturday at 5:30 p.m. for the exhibit Fonville Returns, which takes a look at the works of the late photographer Fonville Winans.

The Arts Council hosts an artists’ reception for the new exhibit It’s My Time Sunday at 3 p.m. in the organization’s Firehouse Gallery (427 Laurel St.). The free event gives attendees a look at works from students of the Community School of the Arts’ “My Time” painting class. The exhibit will be on display through Friday, May 23.
