Louisiana Art & Science Museum hosts National Astronomy Day Saturday at 1 p.m. The event is included in general admission and will feature a variety of activities and events in the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium. Admission is $7.25 for adults and $6.25 for children ages 2-12.

The Baton Rouge Zoo hosts Mother’s Day at the Zoo Sunday at 9:30 a.m. The first 100 moms who enter the zoo will receive a flower. The day includes a “Mom and me”-themed safari and craft-making programs. Admission is $8.25 for adults and $5.25 for children ages 2-12.
