Hollywood Casino (1717 N. River Rd.) hosts A Taste of Downtown Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The culinary event celebrates downtown and Mid City restaurants and serves as a benefit for Triumph Kitchen. Tickets are $50.

Quarters (4530 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd.) hosts a Health and Wellness Expo 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The free event will include free laser tag and arcades, food and beverages and appearances from the St. Louis Cardinals’ Ryan Theriot, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Ryan Clark and LSU track star Rebecca Alexander.
