Aloha luau at the Oasis
Say “aloha” to the Youth Oasis House this Saturday: They’re holding a summertime fundraiser with food and music for kids and adults alike. The Youth Oasis house is a local children and teen-oriented crisis center and homeless shelter, and they need your help to keep the doors open for the most vulnerable among us. $5 per person gets you in for live music from local musicians like Benny Fruge, Daniel Patterson, and Prom Date. With cochon de lait, hula lessons and a limbo contest, plus a raffle drawing for fun prizes, you’ll be having fun and supporting a great cause, too. 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Youth Oasis House, 260 S. Acadian Thruway. youthoasis.org
