All of the ‘Knight’

Tom Cruise is back in action, but with a comedic twist. Director James Mangold followed up the excellent Walk the Line and 3:10 to Yuma this summer with Knight and Day, an adventure flick that should make long-suffering friends of Scarecrow and Mrs. King more than happy, and the film is new in stores this week. Like Mission: Impossible, Cruise plays a secret agent who discovers he’s been set up and is not supposed to survive his latest mission. After becoming entangled with Cameron Diaz’s flighty June, the odd couple goes on the run around the world in an attempt to save their own lives. As they skip from country to country they find that trusting each other is just as hard as staying alive. Paul Dano, Maggie Grace, Viola Davis and Peter Sarsgaard co-star.
