A Rural Life Christmas

This Sunday, you can get into the old-fashioned Christmas spirit when the Rural Life Museum presents “A Rural Life Christmas.” Local artisans will perform seasonal activities that were unique to Southern Louisiana, like sugar cane-grinding and syrup-making. The Southern Vintage Band and Dancers will entertain with antebellum music and dances, and between the wagon rides, magic shows, bonfire and storytellers, you’ll never have such an authentic Bayou Christmas. 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $7, but children 10 and younger get in free.
